On the See-Saw…

Good afternoon sweet friends!
Did you have a super weekend? I pray so! I had a see-saw weekend. It was very good and very scary! That is what this email is all about. 
My sweetheart had a crazy thing happen Friday night. I just got out of the doctor’s office and we have no idea still what happened, but he woke up unable to breathe in or out. His throat was swollen all the way shut. He could not breathe in or out at all. It was the most frightening thing I have ever experienced. I felt completely helpless. It was awful to see him struggle to breathe. It was a miracle that he didn’t die in front of me. Just awful!
It eased off over two hours. Today, the doctor is as puzzled as ever. He is leaning toward an allergic reaction to something (spider, etc) or possibly (because of his age) a weakening in his throat. Sooo, you guys pray for him and obviously me–I have been so edgy in my sleep since then. It is scary, scary.

Want to know why? Oh–you guys will understand when I tell you! My sweet daughter-in-love, Whitney is now 30 weeks in her pregnancy. She will be having an ultrasound tomorrow and wanted GRAMMY to go with her. Obviously, I am OUT OF HERE tomorrow and I will be there cheering Whitney on AND getting an awesome sneak-peek at my beloved GRAND. Quiet Week This Week…

Hello Sweet Friends!
How was your weekend? Mine was so sweet. I had all of my children home to visit. It was so nice to have everyone around for Mother’s Day. Such a blessing!
I can hardly believe that NEXT Mother’s Day I will be SEEING my first GRAND-baby with us. Yes–he is growing sooo fast now. Whitney is looking absolutely adorable. We are on the countdown now to August 27th. Such a precious time!
Well, I thought that I would just drop you a quick note to let you guys know that this week will be a pretty quiet week. I am editing all of the UHSE 2010 audios and getting them online for all of you. Also, I am adding tons of freebies to the membership site. Good morning sweet friends!
Ready for another big, big week? Oh! This one is going to be super! We have sooo much going on around here.
In fact, before I dig in to all of that, I owe all of you a huge apology–my week last week just ran out! We are on the countdown to the Ultimate Homeschool Expo and talk about taking every single moment of my time. It is bigger than ever. You are going to love, love, love it! I finally accepted this past weekend that during the next three weeks, my schedule is going to be a bit different than normal. I am going to try my best to squeeze in all of the things that I normally do, but if last week was an indicator of how things are going to be, then I am going to have to stop making plans that are just impossible. Proud of me? I hope so. I promise that I am trying to keep all of the “balls” in the air, but I suspect that I may have to put a few aside for the next few weeks–IF I am going to sleep! ha! YES! I promise to sleep AND I am even scheduled to run my 5K this weekend. And, we have some amazing things lined up for you this week.
